2 out of 5 stars Be Aware--Voids Warranty!!!   August 5, 2008

I had the same problem as described in other reviews of Communication Lost. Just got off the phone with Nintendo & found out that it caused damage to the B. Board. Even after putting regular batteries in, it still lost commumication. I now have to send it in for repair,& wait approx. 2 wks. to get it back. Warranty is VOIDED for using a product that is not licensed by Nintendo. This also goes for the rechargeable batteries with a charging station for the controllers.

3 out of 5 stars Meets expectations   July 31, 2008
Its a battery pack. I wired it into a 4.5V transformer and it hold a charge for a day maybe two. Increasing the EMF from the transformer might give you a few more hours of game time. But for ten dollars you can recoup the cost of this in 4-6 months depending on how often you play.

1 out of 5 stars Frequent loss of communication between board & console   July 31, 2008
While using this battery pack, I experience frequent communication interruptions between the balance board and the game console. Suspicion is it happens because of a combination of the battery case being located under the left foot contact area and the battery pack only having 2 contacts with the board instead of the 8 that using AA batteries would provide.

4 out of 5 stars Wii Fit Rechargeable Battery   July 30, 2008
The Wii rechargeable battery works fine for me. We use our Wii Fit every day and as long as we remember to let it charge overnight every few days it works fine and saves the cost of new batteries. The cord is quite short so we don't charge it while we're using the game. Every few days after we've finished our workouts, we plug it in and leave it overnight. I'm sure it will pay for itself over time.

1 out of 5 stars Terrible product...not worth the aggravation!!!   July 21, 2008

I thought this would be great to use, instead of using rechargeable batteries and boy was I wrong. I followed the instructions to charge before first use. How can a battery pack charge off of the USB port in the back of the console??....that I wondered! Well, as soon as I was into the rhythm boxing, the 'communication was lost'...ugghhh. This happened A LOT!!! So, I tried using it while plugged in...still didn't register well. My last straw was to charge it by plugging it into the computer, so after 24 hours of charging it 'lost communication' almost instantly. I am now back to regular batteries for now while I recharge some and have shipped back this useless product!!!
