5 out of 5 stars Delicious   August 16, 2008
Of course Oprah wouldn't sell anything less than wonderful. Fabo pictures and tasty receipes.

5 out of 5 stars Oprah, Jesus and Brussels Sprouts   August 14, 2008
1 out of 3 found this review helpful

Once again, I cannot resist hyperbole.

Oprah has changed my life! You must be Jesus incarnate. C'mon, admit it!

The ever fixed point of my life is the hour between 4 and 5 PM when I gratefully sit (full lotus position) in front of my television set, rabbit ears and all, and receive the TRUTH.

Oprah, thank you for bringing into my life the depth and brea(d)th of experience that is there for all of us if only we could really hear your words.

I weighed myself and have lost 2 pounds this year. Do you think that Celexa would help wonderful Dr. Phil?

I now can see the beauty in the gray of the cloud and in the roiling waters of Katrina.

My son is eating Brussels sprouts.

My daughter has limited her use of crack.

I am now behind only 5 months in my rent.

As I said once before, our humble planet Earth should be renamed "OPRAH"

Do you think that you could you send me some money?

Overall Excellent and enjoyable to read. This book is beautifully put together and inspiring. Pictures are wonderful and was very impressed at the high quality of recipes.
A great buy for yourself or I would suggest as a present.

3 out of 5 stars Not bad   June 9, 2008

This cookbook had some very different recipes that most people would probably not make. Overall it was interesting, but if you are looking for everyday recipes I would not purchase this one. Rent from library or browse at a bookstore first.
