xbox 360 wireless network adapter September 6, 2008 Prompt delivery and set up was a breeze. I purchased this for my 14 year old son and he loves it!
Wireless Device for XBox 360 September 4, 2008 I got this to play online and for the most part it does what is promised. It took a little bit to get it setup correctly with my 360 and wireless router. The CD and instructions that comes with it only seemed to compliment things a little bit. Other than that, its cheaper than buying in stores and is covered by Microsoft for six months. While there are a couple cheaper devices on the market, I trust my buy and am happy with it.
Wireless Network Adaptor August 30, 2008 This is an excellent item that has further range than I dreamed of. I use four of these to system link 4 Xbox 360's to play Shadowrun here in Iraq with the boys, (and 1 high speed Gal). The furthest distance of one of the adaptors is about 75m, (225 feet) with full strength bars and the adaptors inside our Chu's, (sleeping quarters). $[...] brand new online
WORTH THE MONEY August 28, 2008 Fits easily and securly with an easy set up. With the price of the Xbox Elite and the wireless adapter is about even to the PS3 so i dont mind at all. You might get a better deal on Ebay and wireless is the way to go!!! Picks up good signal but if its too expensive then just use the ethernet cable. Whats the big deal
How do you rate something that doesn't work? August 27, 2008 I've tried two of these now and neither on them worked. I called Microsoft and, after running through a few tests, they had me send it back. I did some research and apparently there are several people that have had the same problem.
Amazon was very accommodating in allowing me to exchange one but they would not allow me to exchange the second item but issued a refund instead (per their policy). Unfortunately they also raised their price in that time so I have no tried again.
Why did I give it three stars? It is supposed to work very well if you get one that works.
BTW I do understand that the Panasonic BL-PA100KTA works very well with the 360, provides a better signal, and, because it's not 360 specific, it would have more applications for the future.
