1 out of 5 stars IT SUCKED.... (To Put It Mildly.)   June 14, 2007
WHAT A JOKE!!!!! When I saw this game I thought it was fun, BUT IT'S NOT! The game is called "FISHERMANS BASS CLUB" But I never caught a bass, just bluegill. Everytime a bass bit the line it would always get away. I think that barfing would be funner than this thing they call a bass fishing game.I'm a fisherman myself, but come on.. NOT EVERY BASS THAT BITES THE LINE IS GONNA ESCAPE!!!! Heck I've caught more bass in real life than on this idiotic thing. No wonder why it was only ten dollars at walmart, I should of caught on. Don't waste your money, you'll almost cry playing this peice of junk!

5 out of 5 stars don't listen to bad reviews   June 12, 2005

For the cheap price, this game is great! there are different challenges you can take, and even quizes that unlock new things! The bad reviews are for stupid reasons. If you stink at the game, don't blame the game! If games were easy they'd be no fun, and it's not THAT hard. And how is selecting the lure hard? You just keep pressing the left or right button until you find the one you want, which takes like 10 seconds......................wow, hard. You can't get great games like this for this cheap, so if you see it anywhere for $10, buy it!

5 out of 5 stars Fun, fun game!   January 31, 2005

I bought Fisherman's Bass Club new for eight dollars. I wasn't extremely excited about it, but I've always had a small interest in bass fishing (In real life and games), so I decided to give it a shot. Now I'm very glad I did.

Sound - could have been better, but not too bad.
Graphics - excellent. Detailed and realistic.
Gameplay - fun and easy to get used to.

The controls may be easy to learn, but the game is hard to get used to. Beginners will find it very hard to catch a fish at first, but it doesn't make the game any less fun!

Fisherman's Bass Club is one of the best games I have ever played. Give it a try - but rent it first.

2 out of 5 stars RENT THIS GAME FIRST!!!!   December 5, 2003

When I saw this game I thought it would be one those fun and easy fishing games, but when I played it I realized I was wrong and it was quite difficult to catch a fish. It's real easy to get one to bite but not so easy to set the hook and reel it in, the fish always seem to get away.

If you are good at working the controls and have a lot of patience, this game is for you. On the other hand if your patience level is low (like mine) it's very likely you'll set the game aside and play something else.

As for the quiz section-you have 10 seconds to read the questions and answer. If you know alot about fishing you'll do fine.

I recommend you RENT it first.

This is by far the worst game I have bought. It is not fun and hard to play. Don't waste your money.
