Really Fun! August 12, 2008 This game is really fun, and the graphics are cool! I have never done DDR regular, but I have done the disney version, and I like this better!!!! The dances are fun, and it gives you a workout to. It's also neat how you can get the judge's scores.
The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the load times are a bit much. But I am still happy with this game!
it's ok July 4, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
If you're looking for the DDR experience, I wouldn't recommend this game. The arrows in this game isn't like the one in the original DDR games (the ones where the arrows move upwards and there are the 4 directional arrows set on top of the screen). In this game, it shows you the picture of what directional arrows you have to step on. Overall, it's just not the same as playing the other "real" DDR video games.
Great way to exercise February 8, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was introduced to this game on New Years Eve and fell in love with it.The screen shows you how to move your feet and you just follow along. If you are an adult, who has trouble with Dance Dance Revolution, then this is the game for you. It can give you a pretty good workout, so I use it as a form of aerobic exercise. I highly recommend it!
Not quite ballroom, not quite DDR but still fun January 24, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
When I first got the game, I couldn't get past the waltz and it was very frustrating to me. Then I realized that, unlike DDR, you not only have to step at the correct time, you have to release at the correct time, and either shift your weight to your other foot or step back to the middle. After training myself in DDR to NOT step back to the middle, I had to retrain myself to do so on this game. Once I figured that out, I got 9's and 10's right away, had no problem unlocking the other dancers, and with the extra step in the middle, I'm getting more exercise from it. I agree with the other reviewer that the load time for the judging is very long. You can skip the judging altogether in the "practice" mode, but you can only practice songs you've unlocked, and you can only unlock songs in the regular mode.
Overall, I like the game. I like DDR better.
I'm a fan of the show, and I love this game! November 14, 2007 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
I have a blast playing this game. It's tons of fun and it's really neat to have the judges from the show give me my feedback and scores. I play with a dancepad, and my friend and I can't wait to get another dance pad so we can play it at the same time. We have so much fun and we get a great workout, too! We love it!
