| B Company
Welcome to the 222nd Army battalion, B-company. This is where the Army rakes together all the insubordinates, hellraisers and troublemakers that won?t fit in any other unit. When the Rangers and Deltas are too expensive to waste, these guys are the first ones in.
They?re called ?Bad Company?; a mismatched bunch of rejects selected to serve their country as cannon fodder. This isn?t the kind of outfit a lot of soldiers would join voluntarily. Getting transferred to ?the B? is a punishment and a way for the generals to put all their rotten eggs in one basket.
No one starts out in Bad Company. But for some, this is where they end up. |

A Solid Game September 6, 2008 I enjoyed this game but I got the impression from the commercials that this was going to be a more lighthearted game. I realize that war games aren't supposed to be wacky good-times, but the commercials made it sound like humor was going to be more a part of the game than it was. There is some, just not as much as I expected. It is good as a straight war-oriented game and I enjoyed it on that level, however.
Okay but doesnt last too long September 6, 2008 when i bought this i was impressed, loved to blow stuff up ya know the campaign was fun with the short cinematics and sort of funny acts but after that u have multiplayer next, good after a while but the one mode they had of capture the gold got me sick of the game fast until conquest came and got me on it a little bit more but really samething really wont last that long.Until the future were their will be more download content for this game it will be good like more flying vehicles..
The best WWII shooter so far September 5, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I know I am strange...a grandfather who enjoys playing games on the XBox. I bought it to entice my 14 y/o grandson. I have played several games on my PC and now several on the XBox. I much prefer the controls you have with the XBox.
This game is plain fun. It is rather difficult, even in the "easy" mode. I got my grandson to help me through one particularly tough spot. I never thought to land my sick helicopter and look for a repair kit!
Sweet but flawed September 4, 2008 Aiming is weird. a potential buyer should definately not expect a call of duty 4 experience. the controls are ok. graphics pretty cool but not crisp (i play on 1080). The biggest thing i complain about is the need to watch how you shoot. for example you aim at someones chest and by the first second you pull the trigger the aiming reticule flys way up. It takes some patience to get it down. Multiplayer is pretty cool. lots of unlockables and a ranking system. its definatly a good substitute for halo 3 or cod 4 if youre getting desperate. Overall i'd buy it again but remember its no cod 4. but seriously what could beat call of duty 4 besides the next cod.
