Great compilation of William Finn Songs June 9, 2008 This is a great compilation of William Finn Songs sung by very talented people. If you like William Finn, then you will love this CD.
Make Me a Song June 1, 2008 William Finn's MAKE ME A SONG I have always been a great fan...The songs are great! I just wish there would be another musical coming someday. It's been too long.
Some great unpublished songs! April 29, 2008 I saw the show when it was Off-Broadway. For any William Finn fan who believes that he is extremely undervalued, it was a great show. The cast was charismatic and had some of my Favorite William Finn songs! The CD preserves the show in its entirety and is pretty good.
Some of my favorite songs are of songs that have never been published before now. "Hitchhiking Across America" is great so is "I Went Fishing with My Dad" and "Song of Innocence and Experience." Also the collaboration of "I'd Rather Be Sailing/Set Those Sails" is really good (although "I'd Rather Be Sailing" is already amazing and should never really be changed).
