Product Description First Motley Crue album with all original four members in over a DECADE!
Album Description Explicit Version. 2008 is great with Vince, Nikki, Tommy & Mick of Motley Crue, our rock'n'roll Saints of Los Angeles. The band created CrueFest which is five bands, one colossal show and a trail of panties from coast to coast featuring Moetley Cruee, Buckcherry, Papa Roach, Sixx: A.M., and Trapt, plus the Rock Band second stage experience, CRUeE FEST is sure to upset neighbors and blow out eardrums across the nation. The single 'Saints Of Los Angeles' features vocals of Josh Todd (Buckcherry), Jacoby Shaddix (Papa Roach), James Michael (Sixx:A.M.) and Chris Taylor Brown (Trapt).

Eh, just OK July 6, 2008 I think the eight years between albums really hurt these guys. I totally dug New Tattoo and felt that it was a return to their glam roots after the Industrial Motley Crue album with John Corabi and the alternative Generation Swine. SOLA is just a mediocre album at best. The title track and first single is the only standout track on the album. As another reviewer pondered, I wonder what the second single will be as the other 11 songs on the album are pretty much interchangeable. It's great to see 80s bands still putting out new music, but it seems that they should try a lot harder to write and record decent material instead of relying on a built in fan base to buy whatever they end up releasing. Sadly, Motley Crue, Def Leppard, and Whitesnake have all released mediocre albums this year....
Motley Crue is here to stay July 3, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Outstanding effort by Motley Crue; possibly the heaviest Crue record in years. Great writing and production. Vince sounds outstanding and the rhythm section rock hard as usual. Great production on drums and guitar sound. This is a keeper and one of Crue's best!
Great Job July 3, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I wasnt expecting much afet being disappointed too many times by great bands that try to hang on too long and put out crappy music late in their careers, but Motley Crue really suprised me with this offering. They have retained their old sounds while updating it. Yhere are some very strong songs on this CD. I highly recommend for those of us craving to hear hard rock like it should be played.
The Crue is back better than ever July 3, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The Crue is back with a great album. I've been a die hard fan of the Crue for over 25 years and I would say this CD is easily their best since Dr. Feelgood. The album rocks from beginning to end. The album's influence comes from the band's awesome autobiography "The Dirt" which came out a few years ago and traces the band from their early days struggling on the Strip to their crazy, hard-partying days to eventually their present. I would definitely recommend this CD to any true Motley Crue fan who likes the band at their sleazy, trashy best.
Eh, so so July 3, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
So so album. Nearly all of the tracks are 'pretty' good but none of the tracks are 'great.' Not bad and plenty of energy considering their age. I'd give it 3.5, but won't round up to 4.
