Navega is a beautiful album, full of soul and sorrow. Don't miss your chance to "discover" this amazing talent early. No wonder Mayra just won the BBC Radio 3 Best Newcomer World Music Award, and Navega won a German Record Critics Award. Hopefully Mayra will return to the U.S. for live dates in 2009, her live show is not to be missed!

this is a fantastic album. a rootsy/traditional yet upbeat and at the same time loungey brasilian vibe. i heard it on nova planet and gave it to a bunch of friends who loved it.
