My introduction to the Delta Blues. Gave it to my dad for the holidays. It's nice. Mellow. Moody. Bluesy. Robert Jr. Lockwood will be missed on Earth. Give it a listen.

This cd is an excellent show of Robert's guitar work.
Lockwood is a legend and many of these songs are still played by him today. For me this album is essential because It includes some solo songs and a few jazzy songs and a few blues songs.Robert also plays with a great Johnny Shines. It somewhat gives you a little of everything. If you are interested with Robert Lockwood Jr buying this product will certainly give you an added interest in the man's work. I hope you enjoy this album, I certainly have never gotten tired of listening to it. It is my Favorite album of Robert's. Thank You

This CD is some of Roberts early 80's stuff. Some can seem a little different than what you expect, but it's Robert Lockwood. Anything this man does is great. This CD includes some very cool stuff with Johnny Shines.
