I've been waiting patiently for some new Shirley Horn release ever since she passed on several years ago. Well, finally we have something and it was worth the wait! Recorded live at the Monterey Jazz Festival some years back, Shirley is in top form and sounds great. I wish the set had been longer, but I'm thankful we at least have something new. The sound is great and so is the lady. That voice, and those wonderful chords only she could play. The Look of Love cut alone is worth the price of the recording. Dont miss it! A must for any fan.........
