5 out of 5 stars Whether You're Drunk Or Sober, This Still Makes A Great Party CD   September 15, 2008
This George Thorogood collection is a great party CD, regardless of whether you drink like a fish or are totally clean and sober (as I am). While Stevie Ray Vaughan and Johnny Winter could play rings around him, George Thorogood created an intense modern blues style which I hope will influence others. If you saw the 1984 TV movie WHY ME? (based on a true story), in which the lead character's face is virtually destroyed in a car accident caused by a drunk driver, you might wish to skip the overt drinking songs on this CD and just listen to stuff such as "Gear Jammer", "Move It On Over", and "Who Do You Love?", but even if you don't agree with the lyrics of the alcohol songs, you can still enjoy the guitar playing and the grooves of this whole anthology. Sure, it goes a bit too heavy on the drinking songs, but with the other, better collections no longer available, this is the best George Thorogood anthology currently in print.

5 out of 5 stars How can you go wrong?   August 26, 2008
It's George Thoroughgood, and all of his best, most rockin songs, right here, one right after another. You can't be in a bad mood while listening to this, it will rip you right out of your old skin with the first riff of righteous, foundational rock n' roll slide guitar.

B-b-b-b-b-b-b baaad! Bad to the Bone!

5 out of 5 stars A Classic and a Must-Have   August 23, 2007

Buy this, now.

You've all ready come far enough to look at this review so, obviously, you have some appreciation for at least this genre, if you don't all ready know who George Thorogood and the Destroyers are. If this is true, then you need this album. However you wound up reading this, take it as fate and make a good decision.

There is no better than One Scotch, One Bourbon, One Beer, or I Drink Alone when it comes to cracking open a beer and having a good time. And who doesn't love that?

5 out of 5 stars George Thorogood ROCKS!! LIVE ON FOREVER   August 19, 2007
Wow! I love George Thorogood & the Destroyers and they are one of the best bands ever along with Metallica, ZZ Top and Van Halen. I think they should be honoured for making such great music not like overrated bands like U2 who suck!! This collection has several awesome songs like One Bourbon One Scotch One Beer, Bad to the Bone, Move it On Over, I Drink Alone, and Who Do You Love. If you don't have this CD...what are you waiting for??
GEORGE THOROGOOD ROCKS!!
