great for yoga classes or at home relaxation, meditation July 23, 2008
Krishna Das is the top of his genre. This CD in particular is marvelous for yoga classes or at home for meditation and relaxation. The percussion and vocals add a lively twist to the traditional yoga chants. Highly recommended~
Favorite Krishna Das May 2, 2008
This is my absolute favorite Krishna Das mantra CD.
I've had the CD in my extensive mantra collection since it first came out, and return to it time & again. Like all music that is "Krishna" based, the music conveys a deep devotional as well as joyful, "high" quality. There is a wonderful chorus that sounds like there are children in it; but children or not, the chorus complements a rousing instrumental section that gives the "feel" of a spontaneous performance.
I think many people would enjoy this CD, not just mantra fans because it has a great beat & contemporary sound.
This is a wonderful way to learn mantra singing.
Real good music.

People often ask me what my favorite kirtan (yoga devotional chanting) CDs are since I co-authored a book on kirtan. I tell them I listen to Krishna Das constantly. His "Breath of the Heart" is a classic; I literally could listen to it forever.

A friend introduced me to Krisha Das' music a few years ago and I loved it.
I bought Live on Earth and have listened to it MANY times.
I recently picked up this album and it blew me away. The chants are so
beautiful, especially the first one 'Baba Hanuman'.
I work on my computer all day and this is wonderful music to sooth my spirit
as I get things done.
Highly recommended!
