  Great band to hear live! August 29, 2008
We just heard this band in Charlotte, NC at Epicentre at 5 and loved them! They are incredibly talented and very good live. All of us planned to download their album the next day. We especially enjoyed the saxaphone solo! Great sound.
 Good stuff, lots of potential August 26, 2008
First heard of these guys before the CD came out. Being a fan of Dave Matthews Band, OAR, and other such acoustic jam-y bands, a friend told me about nelo. His rec was spot-on - some of these tunes are pretty nice, and there's a lot of that musicianship here that makes bands like DMB so popular. Songwriting is uneven - there's hits, and there's misses. My one major complaint - the thing that could end up holding this band back - is the vocals. Sounds like the guy from Train, and that's not a good thing. Still, poor vocals can be made up for with solid songwriting - just look at John Mayer.
And none of it is particularly original. No, it's the future that excites me, because there's a solid foundation here.
Right there with Dave Matthews, O.A.R., John Mayer, Sheryl Crow, etc. etc. - sometime in the future, expect to hear these guys on adult contemporary radio stations, perfect for soccer moms to sing along.

Incredible band's long-awaited debut record - WOW! You will listen to it over and over again. I highly recommend NELO for anyone who enjoys melodies that stay in your head, cool lyrics, good solid rock sound, and extremely talented musicians.

This is an exciting new group with great potential and making a huge hit on the Texas and Soutwest and Southeast music scene. Everyone will want this CD and these guys are gonna be great as they already are.....
