Dan is correct! August 15, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Dan is correct! Do not buy. Instead get "The Offical Johhny Winter Bootleg Series". All 3 are great. Each one gets better and better. Vol 1 seems to be The 1979 Woddstock Reunion in Long Island. Vol 2 has a killer version of Red House - it's worth it just for that! Vol 3 has a killer version of Boothill, and a killer acoustic cut. All the cuts are fantastic on all 3.
Johnny doesn't get a dime! June 12, 2008 16 out of 16 found this review helpful
This is yet another repackaging of tunes from tapes owned by a former manager of his. The exact same versions can be found on "Blues In A Box" and many more CDs. The Gibson Firebird cover is a blatant and misleading rip-off of the "Live Bootleg" series, which Johnny himself has been putting out recently. Please buy those instead; they're great!
