3 out of 5 stars Change in subscription: please note   July 29, 2008

Just got the Sept/October 2008 issue. They are reducing issues/year to 6. What does that mean for those of us who subscribed at the old rate? Checking my address label, I got "one year" at the old rate, for a reduced number of issues.

Now for the review: I have gotten this magazine for years, and I think it's the best quilt magazine around. It's a good mix of articles, ads and patterns.

5 out of 5 stars I Love Quilters Newsletter   April 5, 2008
I have been a fan of Quilters Newsletter for more than 15 years and I love it. This magazine is a great resource for begining and experienced quilters. The featured quilts are stunning, and the artist interviews offer lots of inspiration.

2 out of 5 stars Somewhat Disappointed   April 5, 2008

I received my first issue of Quilters Newsletter last week. After browsing through it my first thought was that there really wasn't anything interesting in it except for the quilt on the cover of the magazine. Hopefully, subsequent issues will be better. Otherwise, I won't renew my subscription when it expires.

4 out of 5 stars Up-to-Date Quilting news   January 18, 2008

Quilter's Newsletter provides quilters with current information about quilt shows, contests, new fabric lines, awards, etc. Helen Kelley's column is always fun to read. An article featuring a quilter and her(his)techniques is in each issue. Each month QN inludes a paper piecing block to make and also pictures of quilts made by various subscribers.
I also read American Patchwork and Quilting which contains more patterns/projects, but QN is a good supplement for keeping apprised of news in the quilting world.

5 out of 5 stars Quilt magazine   December 17, 2007

Terrific magazine. After many years of not quilting, I am getting back into it. Plus I have a website that offers quilts: www.BeehiveQuilts.com. This magazine helps me stay current in what is going on in the quilt world.
