It handles not only your DVD-Videos (both NTSC- and PAL-formatted discs, depending on your TV), but it plays your music, too--everything from standard CDs to home-burned CD-Rs, CD-RWs, and MP3-encoded CDs. Further, you can load a disc brimming with digital photos for custom slide shows in the comfort of your home theater. An onscreen display simplifies setup and operation, and the unit comes with a compact, full-function remote control. Other features include parental controls (with PIN lock), frame-by-frame slow motion, picture zoom (2x, 4x), and multiple-angle viewing (with applicable discs). Like to travel?  Stay away! Scratches DVDs! November 30, 2008
We bought this dvd because it was the cheapest multizone dvd. Indeed, sometimes when you try to save money you end up losing money. It took me some time to find the code for removing the zone limitations, but I finally managed it. However, after a while I noticed scratches on some dvds. I was unsure for a while until I put in a brand new dvd and took it out scratched!
Stay away from this dvd player!

It's cute and compact, easy to set up, and works fine. Don't expect something really high-tech and fancy and you won't be disappointed. The remote control is overly complex, but is easy to figure out.

everything i wanted in a dvd player- doesnt take up a lot of room, was less than $30, and has worked great ever since i bought it!
