  The worst OEM case of all time, BAR NONE July 6, 2008
This case is the one you get when you buy a Kindle. This case will not hold your Kindle as it's intended to. The first accessory you should buy for your Kindle is a new case--I haven't done the research to know which one, but I can tell you Amazon's Kindle case will not securely hold your Kindle.

I find this book cover essential for keeping my e book reader protected from damage. It is no problem in operating the e book. And is insurance for a lasting e book experience.
 Replacement Book Cover July 1, 2008
It woud appear that the cover of the kidle ( which I LOVE) just has it's quirks. The replacement that you sent was no different, and in fact I am looking for the original as it doesn't fall out as often as the new one.
If that were my only problem then I would consider myself lucky.
I am sorry that you had to take the time to send my a new one but I do appreciate the willingness and speed with which you replaced it. If I do find my original, I will be more than happy to send you back the replacement.
Worse than useless! June 30, 2008
This cover is worse than no cover at all. The cover is supposed to protect your Kindle, but it only works while it is closed up and not in use. The first day I had my Kindle, three times it fell out of this cover, rolled off my lap, and landed on the floor UNPROTECTED! If Amazon ever invents a better Kindle cover than this, I hope they send one to all of us who got stuck with this piece of junk, and I hope they send it to us free of charge!
