| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description The Corsair Flash Voyager family of USB drives is rugged, stylish, compact, and reliable, making them ideal for transporting MP3s, digital images, presentations and more. Flash Voyager drives are fully Plug and Play with most operating systems and are backward compatible with USB 1.1. Their durable rubber casing is easy to grip and water resistant. The Flash Voyager product line is both enclosed in the Corsair proprietary all-rubber Flash Voyager housing. Boasting water-resistant properties, these drives allow users to carry more valuable data and applications without compromise. Several reviews of the Flash Voyager products have demonstrated the ruggedness, durability, and reliability of the Flash Voyager family. The Flash Voyager has been shown laundered, baked, frozen, boiled, dropped, and even run over by a SUV in many third party reviews. After all the punishment it receives, the drive continues to work.

Good price, good capacity September 5, 2008 I can't find any complaints. I haven't put the speed to any scientific tests, but it seems to to be on par with any other USB2 thumb drive. Not as fast as my USB2 hard drive (which is strange...isn't flash suppose to be really fast?), but good enough. Capacity is great, especially in the age of multi-gig files.
It's nice and padded. I haven't tried to abuse it, besides dropping it on carpet, but I would say it's tough enough for most people's abuse.
If I had to pick one negative, it would be that the grippyness of the housing causes it to pick up a LOT of lint when it's in my pocket. And it tends to grip on the pocket's material, too. So it may feel a bit odd. But really, those aren't big negatives at all.
Fast, Mac-Compatible 8GB Thumbdrive September 1, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have been using this drive for about a month now, and it works great! It's fast, great capacity, and works seamlessly on my Mac. Unfortunately, the first one I received was dead, but with Amazon's no-questions-asked return policy, they overnighted me a new one, and I returned the broken one, with minimal effort. Overall I am very pleased with the drive.
It sucks August 28, 2008 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
Without me touching it, it keeps "removing" itself from my desktop.....as if I had not properly removed it.
Great but less than perfect August 28, 2008 I got it for a great price after rebate, so no complaints there. It would be ideal if it has some sort of encryption mechanism to make the data on it safe.

The device works very well, but the cap is very loose so it is easy to lose it if you carry it in your pocket.
