Amazon.com Product Description For the ultimate in wireless freedom, look no further than the Plantronics Voyager 510 Bluetooth Headset, which represents a generational leap in Bluetooth headset technology. The 510 is comfortable and light enough for all day wear, and it offers unprecedented clarity and sound quality. These are great features, but the real revolution involves Plantronics' exclusive "Multipoint" technology, which allows the headset to function as a powerful communication solution for up to two Bluetooth devices. With Multipoint technology you can switch between your voice-enabled Bluetooth mobile phone, PDA or laptop. The headset's "smart" technology knows which device you are using and allows you to take calls from any device at the touch of a button. With the optional Plantronics Bluetooth Deskphone Adapter you can even switch between your office phone and your Bluetooth mobile phone. You'll never need to use a dedicated "landline" phone headset again. The 510 features a noise-canceling microphone for clearer conversations, and it folds for easy storage. The boom also swivels for perfect positioning on either ear. One-touch call control buttons are placed for easy access, and you can easily redial the last number dialed and initiate voice-activated calls from the headset. Because the 510 is Bluetooth-enabled (it supports the Bluetooth 1.2 specification) you can roam up to 33 feet from your Bluetooth device. Meanwhile, the 510 supports adaptive frequency hopping (AFH) which helps avoid interference from wi-fi networks. Ample talk time is provided by the built-in rechargeable battery; you'll get up to 6 hours talk time and up to 100 hours of standby time.

The product description lacking important information October 7, 2008 The Plantronics Voyager is the best earpiece I used. The product description however, was missing important information. Nowhere does it say that this product comes with a charger. Thus, I had to purchased a charger from a 3 party vendor.
Safer Driving October 7, 2008 This headset could be a bit more comfortable (or could it? I don't even like wearing the earbuds for my ipod), but isn't too bad. I like wearing it for long car trips when I don't want to search for and fumble with my phone if I get an important call. It's very easy to use--just hit the button on the headset to answer a call--and it holds a charge for a ridiculously long time (especially if you don't talk nonstop). Overall, I'm satisfied and am buying a second one for a gift.
works well October 7, 2008 I bought this product based on the favorable reviews here. I am impressed with its ability to block extraneous noise. My only critique is that the earpiece has an audible hiss when it is active. I have rather acute hearing, however. I've not tested other bluetooth headsets so I don't know if this is normal or not.
Best headset I've tried October 6, 2008 The Voyager 510 has great battery life that lasts longer than the talk time on my Blackberry. The headset has a large, medium, and small ear piece so that you can find one that is the right fit for you. The power and volume buttons are very difficult to use when the headset is on your ear. This headset produces clear, loud, and static free sound.
A great headset... October 6, 2008 First, let me get the 2 minor negatives out of the way.
1. There's no "beep" when a call drops or if your hung up on by mistake (Hello? Are you still there?).
2. The "Power/Mute" is tough to use, but pushing/pulling the button to the left from it's right side as I push down made using it easier. These 2 things are why the Voyager 510 receives 4 stars instead of 5.
I'll just ramble on about what I like. Clear and crisp sound, the cushion in your ear doesn't leave you listening to your environment in mono, the wind doesn't interfere with the mic or bluetooth signal from the phone as much as my other 2 headsets, the mic picks up my voice commands with little repetition and this unit just made an appearance in this weeks "The Simpsons" where Bart gets ahold of Dennis Leary's cell phone....it was being worn by the bully Dolph.
