nice upgrade, but could be better January 10, 2002 this would be a great upgrade for someone using a 200-500 mhz pc, but if you have a older pc than check with your motherboard manufacturer or pc manufacturer before doing anything.
At this price you could get a hole new motherboard and an AMD chip running at a ghz. If you have an old pc you should probably get a new motherboard anyway.

I put this processor in my machine and everything worked beautifully. I cannot imagine using anything but this processor for a slot 1. If you are looking to upgrade your PC then I reccommend using this processor.
