I purchased this computer a while ago, and have had no problems with it at all. Gateway is my company of choice, and always has been.
In general, I am very mean to my computers, asking things of them that normal computer users usually don't (I tinker with their insides, experiment with hardware/software, run more programs at once than I probably should, etc), and Gateways have withstood it all. (I still have Gateways sitting around from the early 90's that run great, gave them to my kids)
This system is awesome for the price, and so quiet...no noise whatsoever! Insides run cool, super fast response time (and with its AMD quad core it should), and a decent enough graphic card, nice roomy dual hard drives. I paired it with a 19" widescreen Gateway monitor, and am a very happy camper.
4GM ram means Windows Vista 64-bit, which had me a little concerned at first, but so far, I haven't had any problems with software or driver compatibility.
I highly recommend this system, the affordable price (especially for what you get) only sweetens the deal.
