Product Description Lexar Media's Memory Stick! It lights when it writes to protect against accidental data loss. Memory Stick digital film allows you to record your high-resolution digital images in a safe, convenient, durable, easy-to-use format. Though smaller than a stick of chewing gum, Memory Stick packs big performance. Additionally, it's compact, rugged, reliable, and comes equipped with built-in erasure-prevention.

Not convient to switch between A and B January 5, 2007 this 256 Mb stick is actually two 128 Mb combined together. You have to manually adjust a switch from A to B once 128 Mb is used out. I have bought a 512 Mb memory stick and this one is discarded.
Lexar 256 memory August 16, 2006 I just bought another one because the last one gave me the "format error" mentioned by other reviewers. Otherwise, for the cost and the capacity, I am willing to give it another try. It did cause problems for me in my profession, but my clients allowed me to reshoot, and I need the extra space. There are not many choices of memory for those of us not willing to give up our old Sony DSC S85 cameras. These are no longer being manufactured so I guess Lexar became aware of the problems. What can you do ?
Works Well - Enough Memory for the casual user August 6, 2006 Certainly you would want 1mb+ of memory if you were on a long trip, or needed to make the equivelent of more than 50 pictures at 5mb (reasonably high resolution - good for up to 10x8 photos). Otherwise this is sufficient memory for most.
I have had NO problems with this Lexar Media Card at all. Does the job - reasonable price.
Good product - but go for a higher capacity! March 24, 2006 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Initially I was not too happy with the price of this memory stick because these 256MB sticks used to cost $65 in 2004! But it has worked so well and I am extra happy because I can stick them directly into my SONY VAIO PC, that I am hardly unhappy now about the pice drop. I have not had any memory problems/errors and the speed has been pretty good.
The stick has been working well with my SONY Cybershot 3.2MP camera since 2004. However, for the prices these memory sticks are sold these days, I would recommend a 512MB or GB sticks so you can take loads pictures without having to worry about "memory full" messages.
A good product for a digi-cam toddler!
Good Card. December 13, 2005 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Works well. The small switch is only a minor inconvenience. You can't beat it for the price.
