Desk 4000 Review August 29, 2008 The keyboard and mouse are very comfortable and quiet. The scroller on this mouse is a little slower than that on my Microsoft Desktop 3000 mouse, but usable nonetheless.
Apparently, installing the drivers for the keyboard and mouse does interfere with the settings for your screensavers. That is annoying.
Still a good product and a nice upgrade from our wired keyboard and mouse.
best mouse ever!!! August 22, 2008 the mouse and the keyboard are great the keyboard is a little stiff but it is starting to were in
Repeat Item August 8, 2008 I got this wireless mouse and keyboard almost 4 years ago and wore it out, which is fine because it's not expensive. The keyboard is ergonomic, and the mouse is comfy.
Where are the correct "Drivers/" July 27, 2008 The product was exactly what I wanted, however, it was advertized as being compatible with Windows XP and Windows Vista but it was not so coming out of the box. I had to download the drivers for the Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse 2.0 from the internet. Had a really hard time finding them. All is fine now.
Power Hunger July 27, 2008 As most of Microsoft products this one functions fairly well but the devil is in the detail as Mom used to say. Support for these small products is all but non-existant. I read the limited directions but could find no references to how to stop the mouse batteries from draining overnight, short of removing them every time I shut down the computer. I have resorted to re-chargable "AA" batteries that I rotate in and out. The range is good and the keybord layout is nice but these things seem irrelavant if the power keeps draining away.
