1 out of 5 stars How To Fix Certain Keys Not Capping Letters And Adding Extra Spaces   July 11, 2008
Logitech's keyboards will not cap certain keys, mine being a MX3200 digital display with a laser mouse, all cordless.

Before you go crazy with their help literature, simply uninstall Setpoint completely and get back to normal. What a drag if you relied on any of the menus from Setpoint.

This will stop the problem with keys not capping, which is drastic when you're working on something or writing a fast email.

5 out of 5 stars Logitech delivers again   December 15, 2006

I've never considered myself to be a Logitech fanboy, but after using this product, I haven't really shopped for a keyboard or mouse of any other brand.... Caveat: Much of what I like about the set is purely subjective.

Pros:

Keyboard: Great ergonomics, keyboard is roomy and has a built in wrist rest. LOVE the accessory buttons (media buttons, volume wheel). GREAT battery life. I've gone about 14 mos before I finally changed the batteries in the keyboard.

Mouse: Great ergonomics (I'm a righty). Buttons seem to fall into place. Love the 4th (thumb) button. Makes surfing so much faster (default programmed as "back one page"). I LOVE the scroll wheel. Seems to have just the right amount of resistence (ligheter than the microsoft mice, but not so light that you feel like you are "freespinning"). I've never had problems with tracking with the mouse; I do not use a mousepad. Response time for the mouse is pretty good (not gamer level, but I'm not a hardcore gamer).

Cons:

Keyboard (and mouse): Range. I could only get about 6 feet for my setup. However, I live in a high rise with lots of radio interference, so this may be the reason why.

Mouse: Batteries. The mouse goes through batteries every 2-3 weeks. I ended up going with 2 sets of rechargable AA batteries so that I would always have a "fresh" pair for it. Would have loved to have a rechargable mouse (like the newer MX setup). Oh well. Next cordless setup I get will have to be the MX I guess.

Despite the (IMHO) minor flaws, I'd still rate it 5/5. Kudos, Logitech.

I have had my mouse and keyboard for about a year now, and so far, no problems. I still have the orginal batteries in my keyboard.
Here is a little list of things that I do not like about the keyboard and mouse:....... none.

4 out of 5 stars Always precise and Drivers are Great   October 19, 2004

I've been using Logitech mice for 8 years now without a hitch and the Elite Duo is still excellent. The problem with Tracking or Skipping is ALWAYS attributed to the Transmitter location and it's very sensitive so you must experiment with location.
Once you have it down you can use it from another room and Logitech always updates & perfects their drivers. I use an Elite Duo with my Older Mouseman PS2 Ball and a Keyboard Serial touchpad not to mention the extra PS2 keyboard and have 0 problems.
Battery life could be better in the mouse but when you use it for 12h/7d/365 I guess it can be a problem. I use NIMH rechargeables and get about 3 weeks.
PS: you can easily switch hands with this mouse if you're good too.

4 out of 5 stars Excellent !   April 20, 2004

I uses it for about 8 months and I only the battery once on my keyboard !! For the mouse, it uses about 2 batteries every 1.5 month. Not bad at all. I wish the LED on the mouse can be turn off sooner after idle time, it will save evern more energy. Response is great, I do not see delay at all.

One issue is on the keyboard, I wish the spring on the keys are same height as normal keyboard, so I can press deeper as I try. As I hit the key, I have to reduce my force so I do not hit the key too hard. The spring on the keys seem too light too, my fingers get tire easier on this keyboard than a normal keyboard.
