Product Description Kids learned a word a minute in independent school test! 210 words every grammar school student should know, presented in an easy to read format with memory aids in the form of rhyming words and humorous cartoons for every word. Makes vocabulary fun! As easy as the comics.

Page 27 October 13, 2008 Good book with fun and helpful aides that help students connect the vocab words with images and associations. However, page twenty-seven contains are rather irratating sentence that denotes people of Latino ethniticity as "procrastinators." Pretty unnecessary remark considering the braod usage of this term.
Great Way to Learn September 23, 2008 What a great way to learn vocabulary words. This book makes learning vocab. words almost painless.

VOCABULARY CARTOONS: SAT WORD POWER August 24, 2008 THIS REVIEW IS NOT ABOUT THE PRODUCT BUT THE SERVICES OF AMAZON.COM. I PURCHASED THE SAME PRODUCT FROM 2 SELLERS, SHIPPED IN THE SAME MANNER. AMAZON'S SHIPPING CHARGES WERE ALMOST DOUBLE THE OTHER SELLER. WATCH OUT FOR THIS? THE SHIPPING CHARGES ENDED UP BEING MORE THAN THE PRODUCT. JEFF MCKINNEY, HUNTSVILLE, AL
Teachers Beware August 6, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Copyright restrictions allow NO copies or transparencies for classroom use to be made. I wish I had known that before I bought both books. It never occurred to me that a book written by educators for educators would have such restrictions.
I rated the item two stars because of the inconvenience and $$$ lost, but to be fair...it is a good book for individual use.
