Product Description
As the king of all animals, Lion is proud of his magnificent crown. But when Lioness tells him that the world is filled with many more precious things, he declares that whoever should find so precious a gift will receive his crown as a prize. Birds and beasts come to Lion from all over the world with things that they believe are precious. Not one of their gifts satisfies Lion?until Lioness returns to the scene. She presents Lion with a gift that astonishes them all. Large, brightly colored illustrations on every page will appeal to very young boys and girls who have this story read to them. (Ages 4-8)

Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Wonderful pictures!   September 6, 2006
Even though I'm 13, and I got this book when I was 12, I was looking through the books on an Amazing Savings store with my mom and saw this book. I expected it to have cheesy pictures and badly drawn but I was so mistaken! This book is filled with beautiful pictures and splashy colors that make the setting of they story seem mystical and the book truly has a message everyone can learn from.
