Product Description
Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (MPRE) Review provides a comprehensive, yet manageable approach to studying for the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam. This book is ideal for either MPRE home study, or as a study supplement. Jim Rigos has been authoring and lecturing on professional ethics for more than 27 years. The unique Magic Memory Outlines software and Make your Own Exam feature on the free CD bring a whole new element to studying for the MPRE -- allowing students to synthesize information in their own words while still receiving the necessary practice for the exam.

5 out of 5 stars Solid Preparation at an Affordable Price   September 8, 2008

I purchased this study aid to prepare for the August, 2008 MPRE exam. I did not use any other materials to prepare for the MPRE.

This study aid includes the book, software, and audio lectures. The book is organized into topical chapters followed by questions. The information is concise and well organized. There are a few typos but nothing serious. The questions are good for reinforcing the rules and have detailed explanations of the answers.

The software has two features: First, you can work through the questions on your computer. Second, you can download a bare-bones outline that you are supposed to fill in.

The audio lectures are not actually included with the book but can be downloaded from the website. The lectures basically repeat the book but are helpful if you learn better orally or like to study in your car or with your ipod.

I studied about an hour and a half each day for two weeks to prepare for the exam. I filled in the outline from the CD as I went through the chapters and then memorized that outline. I worked through all of the questions on my computer.

I felt confident and prepared for the exam. I scored well above the required scaled score in any jurisdiction. I would not recommend this study aid for someone who plans to cram for the exam because there is no concise outline provided. If you are not planning on cramming, this is an excellent study aid and will prepare you for the MPRE.
