| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description The Corsair Flash Voyager family of USB drives is rugged, stylish, compact, and reliable, making them ideal for transporting MP3s, digital images, presentations and more. Flash Voyager drives are fully Plug and Play with most operating systems and are backward compatible with USB 1.1. Their durable rubber casing is easy to grip and water resistant. The Flash Voyager product line is both enclosed in the Corsair proprietary all-rubber Flash Voyager housing. Boasting water-resistant properties, these drives allow users to carry more valuable data and applications without compromise. Several reviews of the Flash Voyager products have demonstrated the ruggedness, durability, and reliability of the Flash Voyager family. The Flash Voyager has been shown laundered, baked, frozen, boiled, dropped, and even run over by a SUV in many third party reviews. After all the punishment it receives, the drive continues to work.

Great performance, amazing value, very useful! January 8, 2009 Wow, the fast pace of technology. I was looking to upgrade my old 256 mb stick and now I find 64 GIG flash drives. What could you be possibly moving??? I bought the 8 gig version because I felt it was the most price efficient, and I am VERY happy with it. Fast write speeds, good build quality, comes with a lanyard, all the space I need for the purposes of a flash drive. Nice rubber feel to it, however a WARNING: the case is convex rubber; sometimes it is hard to fit into a USB port if there's other peripherals nearby. Sometimes I have to "squeeze" it in between other USB peripherals. With that aside, excellent product for a great price.
Excellent choice for Apple Mac or MacBook Pro January 8, 2009 I just purchased this flash drive for use with my Apple Macbook Pro computer. The Flash Drive came formatted with the Win32 (Windows) file system. However I simply opened the package - inserted into the USB port on my Macbook Pro, and the system immediately recognized it and was able to use it unchanged. Very fast speed with a few photos I tested it with. Appears to be very well built. Soft rubber coating all over - the photo appears to be hard plastic but is not. All in all it is what appears to be a very nice no hassle Flash Drive that can be used with either Windows or Mac computers. Recommended.
Wouldn't buy again January 7, 2009 It's very cool that this flash drive is affordable and holds 16 gigs. I disregarded someone's review here that it is slow, and wish I didn't. It is really slow... I use it to hold a lot of documents and I compose word docs on it and save them there and every time I save during composition, it takes FOREVER.
I would not buy this again for this purpose.
Convenient, easy, useful January 6, 2009 While the Flash Voyager is a bit bulky for a flash drive, it holds 16 GB, is cheap, pretty quick transfer times and has worked on all the computers I have tried so far, even some older machines without a USB 2.0 connection. This was well worth the purchase.
Big and tough... oh, and did I mention 'big'. January 6, 2009 If flash drives were all forced to play profesional sport then the Voyager 64GB would be signed up by the All Blacks as a Rugby Prop Forward. Big, strong, dependable and mobile. It's no sprinter or pint sized jockey - there are other drives that can do that much much better. I'm more than happy with mine and you will be too if you need capacity and durability... just don't expect it to run the hundred metres in record time.
