Amazon.com Product Description The Sennheiser PX 100 Headphones use dynamic supra-aural mini headphones and a slim, lightweight design to provide convenience and superior sound to the traveler or outdoor user. Sennheiser's duoful diaphragms with spiral embossing provide high-resolution sound, while the twin damping technology creates crisp, fast bass response, helped by 80ppi polyurethane and special perforated elements. The ear cups can be turned 90 degrees and closed up, then put into a rugged carrying case that can fit into a shirt pocket. The included headband padding helps provide the perfect, snug fit for your head.

Excellent headphones January 8, 2009 Simply great headphones. My son loves them. I bought a second pair for my wife. Now I want one... Comfortable, good sound. And over the ears instead of in your ear like buds. Much more comfortable. And a reasonable price. Technically, you can fold them, but we don't do that much. They're always being used.
These Are the Best January 6, 2009 Can't beat these. If these cost 5Xs what they sell for, these really are excellent. They have great sound, they are light and fold up small and compact. They are comfortable, you will forget they are on. I couldn't be more pleased...
Great sounding with an included carry case January 5, 2009 I was so impressed with these headphones that I ended up buying 4 more as gifts. They sound great and the included carrying case is very good at protecting them when traveling. There is an included little "O" ring thingy that lets you snug the wires up under your chin, keeping them out of the way. The only weak points is that the jack is a straight wire rather than a right angle and the wires seem very thin and fragile, making the case that much more important.
Great open-ear headphones! January 4, 2009 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I had the Sennheiser PX 200s in high school- When blocking sound was key. Beginning in college, I was walking around a lot more. Crossing streets, running into acquaintances, and not sacrificing sound quality. The PX 200 and PX 100 are similar in sound quality when listening in a quiet room (Libraries), and luckily the music needs to be especially loud in order to leak out the side (A problem I have with other students wearing earbuds is how incredibly annoying it is to hear JUG-JUG-JUG-JUGGA-JUGGA-JUG-JUG over their earbuds).
These headphones are incredibly lightweight, collapsable and perfectly foldable, work with the iPhone classic (Not that anyone has one of those anymore. Man I'm old), and don't sacrifice quality.
The only bad thing with them is how OPEN they are. I'd say 5-15% noise reduction with no music. This is wonderful for when you are crossing a busy street or get asked a question on the bus, but it cannot drown out sound. At all. Like, not at all. In loud situations (Public bus) the only way to lose the crowd is to turn up the volume and that's bad.
Wonderful lightweight open collapsable headphones- Perfect for those seeking a quiet respite in the library or on your morning walk/jog. Not recommended for angry teenagers who need to drown out their parents with Linkin Park.
Great headphones January 3, 2009 These sound great and they are comfortable. I have purchased 4 of them over the last two years. For work and the family. Never had a problem - any problem. Though to purchase replacement ear pads (part number 89331), I had to go to Ebay and pay 7.90 or so for a bag of two. Sennheiser does not ship replacement ear pads to the USA. Oh well. These headphones got great reviews in PCMag and elsewhere. So, I like them.
