 Good ballhead for the price! October 17, 2008
I bought this ballhead to go on a slik pro 400DX tripod. My tripod came with a 3 way panhead, which i find easier to use a ballhead instead. In my opinion i like the fact that you have more control on a ballhead. This ballhead can hold up a digital slr with 70-300mm lens with no problem. If you are looking for something similar i would look at the Manfrotto 486c2 which will cost around $70.00 to the Induro sa01 at $50.00 with free shipping from photoworld. So if you are looking for a good affordable solid ballhead this one is for you.

This is a portable ballhead mainly for travel. I find the controls not as smooth as its big brother. I find the big guns much better in controlling the camera but for the sake of traveling light this is the ballhead for you!
