BEST OS IN THE WORLD February 15, 2008
I’m a Linux (red hat and freebsd) user, and I love the aproach mac had with the unix world, this os is really stable, and has many features that you just have to love, as a programmer it comes with gcc, ruby, rails, java and much more, out of the box so the time I save in installing and configuring is great, plus it’s a fun and easy interface, for any unix user, it’s different, and still has a few things that need tweaking but for a windows user, it’s a ride worth taking, if u’re a tiger user, it’s, if you thought that tiger bested panther, this is way better, only catch, I tried a mac mini g4 1.33Gz, with 512, and it does hang a bit, you do need to raise it up to 1Gb in ram, once u do that, it’s heaven.
A Great Savings February 15, 2008
The Apple Mac OS X Version 10.5.1 Leopard was brand new…saved unbelievably on what it would have cost in a "big box" store…even saved, expecially on shipping, from the other on-line stores. When I am shopping for something, I usually find it and save money at Amazon.com.
Mac OS 10.5 Leopard February 14, 2008
I installed Leopard on a 1.25MHz eMac after upgrading the RAM to 1GB. Everything runs at least as fast as before if not faster. Leopard itself represents a huge difference from the OS 10.3.9 I was running previously. My favorite feature of 10.5 Leopard is Time Machine.
